Compilation II interweaves gestures of archiving with memories of a musical youth shaped through analogue media. A hand moves along rows of CDs, flips through cases, searching. This physical gesture of browsing points to practices of ordering, remembering, and passing on — while also marking their subjective appropriation. Knowledge, belonging, and contemporaneity appear here as something that had to be worked for, collected, and shared — temporally delayed, materially bound, and dependent on access.

The video essay engages with generational imprints and shifts, as well as with nostalgia as a form of attachment and distance. The video approaches affiliations as shared yet fragile systems of reference and asks how cultural references produce community — and how they shift under changing social and economic conditions.
